We offer a guided walking tour of at least an hour. You will meet our equine residents and learn about their careers and lives. Each horse has a very individual story. Some were rescued from very bad situations, others were kindly donated by their owners. Some of them were fantastic race horses, others didn’t earn anything but our respect. Come on out, our champions love company!

Impact 4 Good brings community service to your next event or meeting! Exciting and engaging team building activities are just part of what we offer. Let us identify the best cause/beneficiary to support, based on your meeting location, and we will create and professionally manage the project with our staff and lead facilitator, source the ideal beneficiary in the community, donation logistics and bring the spirit of community service to your group!

Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore
The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore’s primary mission is leading the effort to eliminate hunger in our community. Here’s how we do it.
Collecting Food Donations
By providing nutritious canned, boxed, fresh, frozen, and prepared food to over hundreds of thousands of individuals annually. This food is recovered and secured from restaurants, supermarkets, food distributors, the USDA, farmers, wholesalers, sportsmen, and through food and fund drives.
Distribution Through Partner Agencies and Special Programs. We distribute food through over 400 Partner Agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, and emergency shelters and through programs such as our Mobile Pantry, Kids Cafe and BackPack Programs. By accessing food from the Foodbank rather than purchasing from commercial outlets, each of these Partner Agencies has expanded resources to advance their own missions.
National Affiliations for Disaster Relief
Our national network affiliation, Feeding America™, also has memorandums of understanding with the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and EFSP. The Foodbank, and food banks across the country, act as the food component in disaster relief efforts.
Buying Power
We can assemble a full-course, nutritious meal for only $.35 – much less than the price of a postage stamp! In fact, for every $10 donation the Foodbank receives, we can assemble and distribute up to $60 worth of grocery products.
Committed Volunteers
We do this with the help of volunteers and we pride ourselves on the work of nearly 6,000 volunteers who contribute more than 42,000 hours annually!
