For over 70 years, Jewish Family Service of Tidewater (JFS) is where our community turns in times of need. JFS serves more than 3000 individuals each year including children coping with the loss of a loved one, families facing financial crisis, individuals recovering from surgery and older adults with a debilitating illness. JFS is unique because we provide a continuum of home-based solutions as well as unparalleled caring, support and resources to meet the needs of our community. Our wide range of programs and services enables us to offer integrated services tailored to meet each client’s individual needs regardless of faith, age, ethnicity and income.
Impact: • JFS feeds the hungry, shelters the homeless, cares for the sick and protects the most vulnerable. • JFS continues to meet the growing needs in the community with compassion and innovation. • JFS provides exceptional continuum of care to those in need regardless of the ability to pay.
