Our mission is to grow a just and sustainable community in Louisville, Kentucky, through urban agriculture, urban forestry, and environmental education.

Since we began in 1985 we have built or renovated over 400 homes in Metro Louisville and Oldham County. But, while building is what we do, the reason we do it is to change lives. We build homes because they are essential building blocks for families and communities; especially when coupled with strong relationships and healthy neighborhoods.

SARC is a nonprofit that advances research and provides a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.

Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix offers a variety of opportunities and schedules for volunteers who want to further its mission of providing a “home away from home” for families with children facing medical challenges. The families it serves travel to Phoenix to receive treatment for their child at the city’s world-renowned pediatric centers

An affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Keep Phoenix Beautiful is a nonprofit organization that hosts community cleanup events, garden projects, recycling roundups and more.

JustServe matches faith, nonprofit, community and governmental organizations that need volunteers with volunteers willing to help.

The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department offers volunteer opportunities for parks restoration projects and community cleanups, as well as service opportunities in museums, community centers, desert preserves and citizen forestry.

Volunteers are a core component of many Human Services Department programs and the residents they serve. Seasonal volunteer programs benefit the homeless, senior centers, working people in need of tax assistance, the Arizona Head Start Association, and the Phoenix Heat Relief Network.
