Love the Hungry

Love the Hungry small-group packaging events are a fun and meaningful way to help end hunger. With the help of your family and friends, church, school, business, or community organization, it’s easy to recruit a packaging team of 12 volunteers. Love the Hungry’s nutrient-rich meals are donated to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) worldwide with an emphasis on reaching the world’s most vulnerable children. Although our primary target is children in developing countries, 15% of the total meals packaged are provided to Kentuckiana agencies to assist local families in need.

Louisville Rescue Mission

Gives hope and healing for a restored life. We offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of the whole person. When someone is homeless or hurting, they have immediate physical needs. Our hope is to meet these needs through our Emergency Services, which include food, clothing, hot showers, laundry, storage and mail services. Our residential LifeChange program for men helps heal brokenness and build positive new lives with a biblical foundation. We provide subsidized Permanent Housing to men coming out of homelessness who have a diagnosed disabling condition.
