YouthBuild Louisville is an education, job training and leadership program that provides low-income young adults ages 16-24 opportunities to realize their potential as active community leaders and an educated workforce for Louisville.

Impact: YouthBuild Louisville is building a LEED-certified campus that is also home to an organic garden and orchard, rain garden, a flock of chickens, and an outdoor classroom. The Green Campus is a living laboratory and incubator to improve the personal, social and economic health of our youth, neighbors and community.

Project Availability:

Volunteer Responsibilities: There are outdoor projects involving landscaping, tree planting, building things such as chicken coops and composters gardening and maintenance There are also indoor maintenance activities.

Attire: Weather appropriate clothing that can get dirty
