Projects With Purpose
Projects with Purpose is a volunteer matchmaker headquartered in New Orleans, orchestrating Humanitarian Events from start to finish for meeting groups and corporations all over the country! When you identify your area of interest, Projects With Purpose will coordinate your Volunteer Experience from start to finish! Together, they create an opportunity for team building that creates loyalty, goodwill and provides a lasting contribution in an area that needs your help!
Common Ground Relief
Common Ground Relief believes in learning service not Service Learning. We want our volunteers to learn about the issues and people of New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.
Our programs are structured to help the volunteer increase their ability to effect change in the future while providing solidarity and support for our coastal communities. We hope that volunteers gain experience, perspective and skills while they are with us.
New Orleans Area Habitat For Humanity
New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH) builds houses in partnership with sponsors, volunteers, and partner families to eliminate poverty housing in the New Orleans area while serving as a catalyst to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
SBP
St. Bernard Project (SBP) is an innovative, award-winning non-profit serving vulnerable families, senior citizens and disabled residents struggling to recover from the devastation and trauma caused by natural, economic and man-made disasters. Over 40,000 SBP volunteers have rebuilt 430+ houses for hard-working American families.
Houston Food Bank
Volunteer projects vary based on need and may include inspecting/sorting food, repacking dry food into family-sized bags, stocking/cleaning the Emergency Food Pantry or one of many other opportunities.

Produce Glean
Gleaning is our most popular volunteer activity. When we glean, we go into a field to pick any produce that is left behind after harvest, but is still healthy, fresh, and edible. The food that we harvest helps us feed the hungry and we get to educate the public about the work that goes into getting food from the farm to the table
Frisco Family Services
Food Pantry
2 hours shifts: M-F 9A-5P, Wed 6P – Volunteers will help with intake donations, date check items, sort donations, stock shelves and assist clients as needed.
