A Fisher House is “a home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at major and VA medical centers.

A variety of volunteer opportunities from the mail room to security support are available at the at Haven For Hope. Donations and finance support are needed.

Morgan’s Wonderland is a non-profit, fully accessible theme park designed especially for those with disabilities or special needs, but built for everyone’s enjoyment.

The Parks & Recreation Volunteer Program has provided numerous volunteer projects to clean, maintain and upgrade City-owned parks.

San Antonio Food Bank relies on volunteers to inspect, sort, shelve and distribute donated food.

Soldiers’ Angeles relies on donation items of any kind to sustain three projects: Care Packages to units deployed in remote locations; Vet Packs to support VA; First Response Backpacks distributed to American combat hospitals around the world.

Help provide the little things that make the big difference to children in need by donating basic everyday times to Boysville.

At the event, meals are assembled with ingredients (assigned by United Way about a week beforehand) provided by volunteers. Groups gather at one of several “recipe tables” and once the whistle is blown, each table prepares about five batches of the recipe in 15 minutes. When all groups have finished, they clean up, move to the next table and start again until all groups have made each recipe.
