Vetshouse, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides housing, food, clothing, counseling and other assistance to homeless veterans of the US Armed Forces to facilitate their return to gainful, independent, responsible and productive lifestyles. The goal is to bring awareness to the Hampton Roads of the current plight of the 2500 homeless veterans in our community. Vetshouse will provide this program to as many veterans as possible through the donation of time, materials, services
Impact: All support to Vetshouse serves the homeless veteran community of Hampton Roads. It is not a shelter, but a 12 month program providing contemporary living quarters in a group environment, assistance in job hunting, transportation, personal skills and development guidance. Whether the project is collecting toiletry items or holding a drive to collect household consumables, or working as a volunteer at a fundraiser, all projects support at-risk veterans in transition.
