Description:

Emma’s House is a non-profit after school, holiday and summer program for teens and young adults with special needs, such as Autism, Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disabiliites.

Impact: Emma's House enables young people with special needs a place to go after school, summer school and on holiday breaks. We also have many "typical" young people volunteer at our facility, which allows our EH members and volunteers to develop relationships that extend into the community.

Project Availability:

Volunteer Responsibilities: Depends on whether you want to have direct interaction onsite at Emma's House, versus gathering goods at the convention site.

Attire: Casual

F&B Provided for Volunteers: Water, pretzels, chips, granola bars

Option to Move Project to a Different Location: Attendees could gather donations at the convention center or hotel site, based on space available. Otherwise, all other efforts would need to be onsite at Emma's House.
