The Central Texas Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas. A leader in the fight against hunger for nearly 35 years, our mission is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger. We work with food donors across the country, financial supporters and volunteers to fill unmet needs in Central Texas.

Project Availability:

Volunteer Responsibilities: Garden—Support harvests, growth and maintenance of outdoor gardens; Kitchen—Support on-site meal production and maintenance of kitchen; Mobile Pantry—Support client intake and pantry site distributions; Warehouse—Support; Administrative—Support daily administrative duties and data entry work

Attire: Closed-toe shoes only; shirts with sleeves—no tank tops/sleeveless tops; dress comfortably for outdoor service work; bring a warm jacket/clothing if volunteering in the kitchen.
