Through the effective reuse of donated items, Bridging improves lives by providing quality furniture and household goods to those transitioning out of homelessness and poverty.
Impact: Bridging serves over 75 households, over 230 people, each week who are given a sense of dignity and stability as they rebuild their lives. Full program information at www.bridging.org.
Project Availability:
Volunteer Responsibilities: Help us load/unload trucks, sort through donated goods, inspect linens and restock shelves. Specific projects will be determined on the day you volunteer based on inventory and final group size. Volunteers need to be 14 years of age or older. Sponsor a Dresser Build Where: Roseville, Bloomington or a location of your choice* Group Size: 10 - 150+ Buy/sponsor and assemble new dressers for those in need. Kits in stock at Bridging. Teams must purchase dresser kits for $50 (3-drawer) or $75 (5-drawer) each. A minimum of 10 dressers per project is required. All necessary tools and directions are provided. No experience required!
