The mission of the Audubon Society of Rhode Island is to protect birds, other wildlife and their habitat through conservation, education and advocacy for the benefit of people and all living things.. It is a non-profit conservation organization which relies heavily on our volunteer friends for support. Opportunities to help Audubon include volunteering, community service.
Impact: Currently the Audobon Society is focusing on issues like climate change, protection of habitat and natural resources, and water quality and availability. The Society currently engages in a wide variety of ongoing property management on over 9,500 acres of wildlife refuges and protected land across the state.
