Our beautiful waterways, delicious local seafood, and diverse recreational opportunities in nature are why we chose Virginia Beach as our home. Description:

There are many opportunities to support Lynnhaven River NOW. Several unique factors will help guide the scope of your project. The season, group size and time allocation are several factors to consider when planning a project with LRN. Please contact Dana Sizemore to help customize a project for your group.

Impact: Project Impact: All support helps LRN move toward their objectives:

To identify & reduce sources of contamination in the river; reduce nutrients, sediments & chemicals running off of our lawns, parking lots, roadways & out of our septic systems.
To educate &engage the community & partner organizations in restoring & protecting the Lynnhaven River.
To restore lost habitats such as oyster reefs, salt marshes & other buffers that help to filter polluted runoff and protect the river & its marine life.
