The first of its kind in the U.S., the Austin Habitat ReStore has been serving the Austin community for more than 20 years. ReStore helps build community by generating revenue that is plugged directly back into Austin Habitat for Humanity programs and services. ReStore also offers affordably priced and diverse selection of home improvement materials. ReStore serves as a community recycling center diverting millions of pounds of excessive dumping from Austin landfills.
Impact: The ReStore is a discount retail outlet selling new and slightly used construction and home repair materials, furniture, appliances, home goods, clothing, lighting… you name it, we probably sell it! $0.87 of every dollar from the ReStore funds Austin Habitat for Humanity’s mission.
