The Stewpot

Volunteers dish out the food and also pour beverages for our guests once they are seated. Meals start at 7:30 am (Breakfast), Noon (Lunch) and 6 pm (Dinner).

Brighter Tomorrows

Children’s Activities:
Spend time with the children at one of our emergency safe shelters, Transitional Housing, or Counseling office leading structured activities during adult support group sessions and life skills classes.

Thrift Store:
Assist store staff in receiving, sorting, tagging and displaying donated goods for sale at one of our thrift store locations. (Grand Prairie or DeSoto). Store hours are 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday-Saturday.

Hold a Supply Drive:
Hold a drive for one of our two emergency safe shelters. Necessary items include paper goods, cleaning supplies, bedding, household items and baby needs.

Adopt-A-Room:
A group can adopt a room at one of our two emergency safe shelters. You would provide needed items such as bed linens, pillows, and wall décor. Your group can paint and decorate a room to give it a fresh new look to make the family feel safe and feel like home.

Adopt-A-Playground:
Calling all businesses, organizations, and sorts teams! Help restore, and rehabilitate our playgrounds for our kids! It is our goal to provide an exciting and fun environment for our youth and teens to enjoy.
