Description:

One in five children in the St. Louis region lives in poverty. Many families struggle to purchase the school supplies children need to thrive. Your Convention/Meeting will help a child go to school feeling prepared and confident by filling backpacks with supplies such as pencils, notebooks, folders and crayons.

Impact: To help a child go to school feeling prepared, confident and ready to learn with the same tools that other children have.

Volunteer Responsibilities: Assembly of materials into individual packs

F&B Provided for Volunteers: No

Option to Move Project to a Different Location: 2,000 square feet of space, tables and chairs, ability to receive shipment of materials
