Description:

To provide emergency and supplemental food to the people in need in Nebraska and western Iowa.
Our volunteer hours are Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., the third Tuesday of each month from 5-7 p.m. and the fourth Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Project Availability:

Volunteer Responsibilities: The Food Bank is moving to a “most needed” task of the Food Bank volunteer style. We will ask our volunteers to complete our most urgent need. This often includes working with bulk produce to send out on our mobile pantries, packing bags for the Food Bank’s Backpack program, repacking bulk donations, or working with food given by our corporate partners. We do not accept court-ordered community service or individuals in the diversion program.
